Chevron U.S.A. -- Page 1 <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> In accordance with your request, we have completed the installation of three <br /> ground water monitoring wells at the above-referenced subject property. The <br /> following report summarizes the details of our findings. <br /> 2.0 PROJECT SITE HISTORY <br /> The subject. property is located at 9474 North Highway 99, approximately 1/6 <br /> 5r mile north of Morada Lane in Stockton, California. <br /> r� <br /> The subject property had been developed as a Chevron service station <br /> facility, which was understood to have included a service station building and <br />'4 <br /> ,, canopy, underground fuel and waste oil storage tanks, product and vent piping, <br />.r' <br /> dispenser islands, planter beds and surface pavement. <br />�f <br /> Information provided' to our office for review by Chevron indicated the <br /> service station facility was razed in 1986, and that the underground tanks and <br /> product piping were removed at that time. <br /> An environmental assessment report was prepared for the Chevron station No. <br /> 96155 in Stockton by Woodward--Clyde Consultants, dated September 2, 1988. The <br /> report was prepared at the request of Gettler-Ryan, Inc. for Chevron U.S.A. to <br /> t <br /> assess subsurface conditions at the subject property with specific regard to <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons contamination. The investigation report described <br /> exploration of shallow soils sampled for chemical analysis to detect petroleum <br /> DAMES & MOORE <br />
