According to Sonny (Harinder Bhatia), no hazardous training has been <br /> conducted. The generato must ensure that all employees who handle hazardous waste are thoroughly familiar with <br /> proper waste handling an emergency procedures. Provide proof of training to the EHD for employees whose <br /> responsibilities include ha ardous waste. <br /> This is a Class II violation <br /> 608 CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br /> Bills of lading for therecy ling of used oil filters for the last three years were not found on site. According to Mr. <br /> Bhatia, the fuel filters wer changed about a month ago and were taken by the technician, but no bill of lading was <br /> left. A copy of each bill of lading must be kept on site for at least three years. Immediately locate a copy of all bills <br /> of lading for used oil filter for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective a tions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by July 16, 2017. <br /> Please be aware as of Janua 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all hazardous materials information <br /> online to the California Envir nmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov. Be sure to include <br /> your hazardous waste activit in the Businesses Activities section in CERS in addition to any other relevant <br /> activities and required fields. <br /> Note: According to Mr. Harin er Bhatia (Sonny), this facility opened for fueling on May 20, 2017. <br /> Wastes generated at this faci ity: fuel contaminated water, fuel contaminated solids, used fuel filters <br /> Documents reviewed: None vailable on site <br /> Documents provided: Return o Compliance Certification form, schedule of free CUPA classes, modified <br /> contingency plan template, s mple hazardous waste label, small business brochure for the SJC Household <br /> Hazardous Waste facility <br /> Page 4 of 5 <br />
