sl
Chevron D-S.A. - Page 17
C-D, which was situated in the general vicinity of Dames & Moore's current soil
boring/monitoring well location B-1. Similar to khat was reported during Dames &
Moore's current investigation, the concentrations of benzene noted"in those
Woodward-Clyde sample: obtained from about
20 and 30 feet below grade vete
reported at C.12 and 0.16 pars
_. per million, respectively. A11 other
constituents were reported as non-detected for the samples analyzed at the time
of that investigation.
Ac;ual discernible residual contamination at the subject property is
i.
interpreted by the attenuating trend observed at the B-1 and B-2 soil boring
_ locations. This trend has been interpreted to suggest that residual vertical
liquid migration has attenuated observably at an a
 g y
o pproxiraate maximum depth of 20
{ - feet below grade, an is interpreted as most
probably limited to the previous
dispenser island locations.
3
Ground water. samples obtained from the ground water monitoring wells
installed at the subject property were submitted to a
State-approved laboratory
a
for chemical analysis. Ground water samples were analvzed to detect the presence
and concentration of petroleum constituents as referenced to gasoline. The
results of those analyses reported non-detectable levels of petroleum
hydrocarbons present in ground water.
DANfEs &NTOORE
