INTRODUCTION/SCOPE OF WORK <br /> In accordance with the request of Mr. Les Calkins,Advanced GeoErrvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has <br />' prepared this Closure Summary Report (CSR) for 19501 North Highway 99, Acampo, California <br /> (the site). The report summarizes investigation and remediation activities performed at the site. The <br /> location of the site is illustrated in Figure I -Location Map. A plan of the site is illustrated in'Figure <br /> 2 -Site Plan. A plan of the excavation is illustrated in Figure 3 - ExcavationSitePldn. <br /> This report is prepared in accordance with San Joaquin County Public health Services - <br /> Environmental Health Division*(PHS-EHD) and Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br />., Board (CVR.WQCB uidelines:for the investigation of under round stora e tank UST sites. <br /> ) g � g g (UST) <br /> 2.0. BACKGROUND <br /> 2.1. SITE LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION <br /> The site is located in a rural/agricultural area of low topographic relief south of Acampo, California, <br /> near the intersection of Highway 99 and Woodbridge Road. In 1957 a 550-gallon gasoline and two <br /> '10,000-gallon diesel USTs were installed at the site. <br /> 2.2. GROUND WATER DEPTH AND FLOW DIRECTION <br /> Based on the San Joaquin County Flood.Control and Water Conservation District ma entitled Lines <br /> q ty p . <br /> of Equal Elevation in water Wells, Fall 1993, ground water depth at the site is approximately 55-feet. <br /> ' below surface grade (bsg). Regional flow direction in the area of the site is west to southwest. <br /> However, flow direction can vary locally and seasonally. <br /> 2.3. REGIONAL GEOLOGICAL AND HYDROGEOLOGICAL SETTING <br /> ' The subject site is located in the central portion of the Great Valley geomorphic province of' <br /> 'California. The valley is a nearly flat, elongate trough trending northwest and southeast for <br /> approximately 450 miles.The valley is enclosed by the granitic Sierra Nevada Mountains.on the east <br /> ' and the sedimentary and metamorphic Franciscan Coast Range on the west.
