Hmong Non-Alliance 3 March 11, 1992 <br /> Cost of Phase 1 Environmental Assessment <br /> The cost for the Phase I assessment will be Two Thousand Eight Hundred and <br /> Fifty Dollars ($2,850.00). A retainer of Nine Hundred Thirty Dollars ($930.00), along <br /> with a signed work order, is requested prior to commencing work on the project. We <br /> will submit monthly progress billings for our work; these invoices are payable upon <br /> receipt. <br /> Client-Provided Information <br /> We request that the following information be provided or obtained by the <br /> Client prior to completion of the assessment report: <br /> • A map or plat showing the subject property's boundaries; ESE will not assume <br /> responsibility for determining property lines. In cases where natural or <br /> man-made landmarks are insufficient or absent, staking of property corners <br /> may be necessary. <br /> • Verbal or written authorization from the current property owner for ESE <br /> personnel to enter the subject property and conduct this assessment, prior to <br /> performing the site reconnaissance. <br /> • The cost shown above does not include the price of obtaining a 50-year chain <br /> of title for the property, which may be required by some lending institutions. <br /> If title information is required, it will be the Client's responsibility to obtain <br /> and provide this information to ESE before the report can be issued. <br /> • Some lending institutions and banks have specific requirements for Phase I <br /> environmental assessments. If the assessment work must satisfy a specific set <br /> of requirements, we ask that the Client provide us with a copy of those <br /> requirements prior to completing the report. <br /> Schedule and Conditions <br /> We expect that work on the project can begin within 5 working days following <br /> authorization, with the report available within 10 to 12 working days following <br /> commencement of assessment activities. Preliminary results of the assessment can <br /> be relayed on a verbal basis as they become available. This fee quotation will remain <br /> in effect for 90 days. Should unforeseeable site conditions require a different <br /> approach or additional work, this estimate may need to be revised. We would notify <br /> the Client of any major change in the proposed scope of work prior to initiating such <br />
