The second unit dwelling shall conform with all the requirements of the Local Health District and the County that are applicable to residential units in the zone in which the property is located; (h) Requirements for Mobilehomes. If the second unit dwelling is a mobilehome, the following additional requirements shall apply: (1) Additions. No permanent room additions shall be allowed, but patio covers constructed of the same materials as the mobilehome shall be permitted; (2) Skirting. Skirting constructed of the same materials as the mobilehome shall be installed; (3) Time Limit. The Second Unit Dwelling Permit shall be effective for not more than three (3) years. Applications for renewal shall follow the same procedures, be subject to the same requirements, and pay the same fees as a new application for a Second Unit Dwelling Permit; (4) Construction Standards. The mobilehome shall be constructed to meet the minimum standards of the National Manufactured Housing Construction and Safety Act of 1974 . Currently this permit costs $90. 00 and requires that an applicant fill out the appropriate form. The process takes approximately 2 weeks from the time that the application is accepted to the actual issuance of the permit. 3 . PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES (a) Construct an individual sewage disposal system(s) under a permit and inspection by the Environmental Health Division at the time of development.
