s
T & T Trucking page 2
11396 Hwy 99 Frontage N, Lodi
_. A summary included`in-th-e reportJndicated-that_the-vertical-invest i gat ion_of,1PH
as gasoline and MtBE-has not-been-completed-in the source-area_and,__
recommended additional CPT work.
Recommendations also included conducting a soil vapor extraction (SVE) test for
interim remedial action evaluation. The number of SVE wells installed for
feasibility testing must be limited. Remediation of the deeper saturated zone
may require additional methods such as air sparging.
EHD concurs with this approach but recommends that a monitoring well with a
short-screened interval be placed at each zone where CPT-1 data has indicated
petroleum was detected before the additional CPT work be enacted: Each
separate permeable zone should have it's own separate monitoring well and
should be sampled quarterly. If consistent sampling data indicates that '
significant petroleum contamination is present, EHD will approve the deeper CPT
investigation.
EHD thanks you for your cooperation and your willingness to continue this _
investigation.
