PHS/EHD received the l <br /> Letter Summary on March 25, 1998. PHS/EHD was not aware that'the responsible party would seek <br /> reimbursement for the transducer study which was neither directed nor approved by this agency. <br /> During this time frame (March, 1998) the responsible party had submitted a workplan to install <br /> i <br /> groundwater monitor wells. PHS/EHD discussed-the workplan with the consultant on several occasions <br /> regarding deficiencies in the soil sampling section of the proposal prior to issuing written approval.
