The objective of this study is to collect water level data
in existing on site wells for appioxttuately seven days. The purpose of this limited study is an
attempt to determine if fluctuations in water levels May indicate an hydrologic influence on
the water table by the primary domestic well, which is screened in a deeper zone.
The following describes the hydrogeology, scope of works and time of completion for a
summary letter of the results of this study.
Hydrogeology
The shs.11ow water-bearing zone (WBZ) represents the first encountered water beneath the
site, approximately 78 feet below ground surface. One gTowilwater monitoring well (MW-1)
is screened across this zone (73.5 to 83.5 feet bgs): Based on the well log of the primmy
domestic well on the site, the detT WBZ is assumed to be within the interval or 167 to 247
feet bgs. There are multiple sand renes within this interval that may or may not be
interconnected, however, fcir the purpose of this study the shallowest sancl interval (168-180
fact bgs) is refcrcmced as the deep Wr3T. See l:igum 1 for the vacll locations.
In addition to MW-1 and the primary domestic well, there is an "unused" domestic well on-
site
nsite an=d is assumed to have been installed in the 1950s. This well has not used by 'T'&T
Trucking for several years and the peimp was pulled on January 14, 1998. There is no well
log available for this well ,,o the total depth and well screen interval is unknown. Based on
conversation,, with Mr. Te y Tarditi, it was thought the well was at least 15Q to 200 reet
deep.
F:627MORREsal UR-1-n(c.
Frwinviu HdedFtkyjowpo)pAMIr.rn'ia ATUT-AdmfykalSuY+rv?
9616 Ml(if)m AVI:NUI„ Sala 600, SAL EARNNrn, CA 95927.2623
(916) 444-b123 I;AX 010 S56 5211
