A cumulative 5,569 pounds, or 891 gallons of TPH-g were removed through SVE
between April 2008 and August 2009
B. MTBE concentration reported in well MW-1 during the June 2009 event (1,700 µg/1)was
the lowest reported at thesite since April 1999
II. COSTS
A. Over$100,000 submitted to USTCF for reimbursement and is presently pending
1. Including a$30,500 reimbursement submitted in September 2009
2. Anticipated reimbursement date June 2010?
B. Costs of continued remediation approximately $3,500/month(including reporting,
PG&E, IAS & SVE system O&M, and laboratory costs).
C. AB 1188 expected to pass in October 2009
I. Increases USTCF fee of 0.6 cents/gallon to 2.0 cents/gallon
2. Unsuspension of`C claims' should be implemented in the first quarter 2010
III. GROUND WATER TRENDS
A. Depth to water at the site appears to be highly seasonally variable and declining overtime
B. Wells MW-2 through MW-4 (screened between 70 feet and 80 feet bsg; well MW-1
screened between 80 feet and 90 feet bsg) appear to contain.water during the wet season
only, likely March through May
C. Typical ground water flow away from domestic well; regional flow appears to be east-
northeast (e.g., Speedy Foods - 8200 N. Hwy 99)
IV. DEFINITION OF IMPACTED GROUND WATER
A. The site is not laterally monitored during dry season (wells MW-2 through MW-4)
B. Based on CPT investigation in 2003, the site is not vertically defined in the source area.
The grab ground water sample collected from boring CPT-1 (located in source area,
adjacent to Well MW-1) at a depth of 108 feet bsg contained concentrations of MTBE
(_750 µg11) and TPH-g (1,000 µg/1)
C. Based on trends observed in site monitoring wells,MTBE migration appears to be
towards the east-southeast (away from!the former UST area and the domestic well)
