The Fund is exercising its authority under the <br /> Heath and Safety Code Section 25299.39.2(a) to review claims for closure that have been in an active status for <br /> five years or more. For those sites where this review has resulted in a closure recommendation, the Fund will <br /> not be budgeting money for additional investigation, monitoring; or active remediation.
