i <br /> BROWN AND CALDWELL <br /> SITE SAFETY AND HEALTH PLAN <br /> Site Description <br />+ L T & T Trucking is located at 11,69 North Highway 99 in Lodi, California. The site is an <br /> active trucking terminal, where trucks are stored, staged, and fueled. <br /> Project Objectives <br /> The purpose of the work will be to determine the lateral and vertical extent of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons, if any, in the soil and groundwater on-site. <br /> Field Activities <br /> Field activities will include the drilling, sampling, stockpiling, and remediation of any <br /> petroleum hydrocarbon-affected soil and groundwater. Personnel on-site will include one BC <br /> geologist, two to three subcontractor employees,and occasionally"other personnel from BC or the <br /> regulatory agencies. This site safety and health plan (SSHP) is valid December 31, 1997 to <br /> December31, 1998. <br /> . KEY PERSONNEL AND RESPONSIBILITIES <br />{ <br /> Ms. Tina M. Bauer is the project manager (PM). Ms. Anne Baptiste, Certified Industrial <br /> Hygienist (CIH), is the health and safety director(HSD). Ms. Tina M. Bauer or Ms. Wendy Linck <br /> are the project geologist/engineers and will also function as the site safety. officer ,(SSO). The <br /> project field staff have completed 40 hours of comprehensive health and safety training which <br /> r meets the requirements of Title 29 Code of Federal Regulations Part 1910.120 (29 CFR 1910.120). <br /> i The SSO has the authority to monitor and correct health and safety problems as noticed on site. <br /> rt <br /> PM Responsibilities <br />�. The PM is responsible for generating, organizing, and compiling the SSHP which describes <br /> all planned field activities and potential hazards that may be encountered at the site. The PM is also <br /> responsible for assuring that adequate training and site safety briefing(s) are provided to the project <br /> field team.
