Previous precision leak testing <br /> indicated the,UST tested fight. -On February 20; 1995,,,a:970_.gallon.release of fuel was detected <br /> during inventory monitoring; and-the remainder of the fud was .removed.from .the UST the same <br /> day... <br /> The UST was•rembved on'.March 29; 1995 by.Johnson Petroleum. Soil samples (T1A and TIB) <br /> were.collected_ from the.bottom of the excavation.by.Wallace-Kuhl &.Associates (WKA). Test <br /> results:ol the.soil sample'(Tl.B):collected Froin beneath the southern end-of:the'-tank:ata depth.of- <br /> 14.5.feet ievealed no detectable.concentrations'of petroleum hydrocarbons. .The soft sample.(T1A) <br /> 'collected from beneath the.northern .end'of the tank at a,depth of 15 feet revealed.an elevated <br /> concentration, of 1600.mg/kg Total `,Petroleum Hydrocarbons '(TPH),as gasoline and elevated <br /> benzene; toluene, efhylbenzene, .and .xylenes '(.BTEX) concentrations.
