Mr Michael] Inf area,jr
April 14, 2003
Page 3
and has ranged from approximately 61 feet bgs to approximately 71 feet bgs
Groundwater flow was primarily to the southwest from August 1998 to May 2001,
but has exhibited a very flat gradient since August 2001
Sensitive Receptor Survey
The Sensitive Receptor Survey includes a review of water well driller reports, and a
site reconnaissance for wells, surface waters or basins, septic systems, or any other
sensitive receptor The review of the state water well driller reports was conducted
at the Department of Water Resources (DWR) Central District Copies of all
reports for wells in Township 3N, Range 6E, Sections 25 and 36, and Township
3N, Range 7E, Sections 30 and 31 were reviewed During the site reconnaissance
it was determined that there were many wells located within 2000 feet of the site
that drillers reports were not available at the DWR Sixteen wells were determined
to be within 2000 feet of the site based on addresses in drillers reports Six of the
sixteen did not have an address associated with them and therefore, addresses are
approximated as shown in Table 1 An additional 19 wells were located during the
• reconnaissance of the site vicinity
There are nine wells within a 1000 foot radius of the site and a total of 35 wells
within a 2000 foot radius of the site Figure 2 shows the locations of wells within
2000 feet and Figure 3 shows the locations of wells within 1000 feet of the site A
list of well locations, type of well, and well data are shown in Table 1 State water
well drillers reports are included as Exhibit A and B Also included are drillers
reports for wells that do not provide enough information to determine whether
they are for wells within 2000 feet of the site
There is a drainage ditch located approximately 1400 feet north of the site The
drainage ditch leads to Bear Creek southwest of the site through a series of
channels In addition to irrigation and/or domestic supply wells there are also
septic systems at most of the locations noted on Figures 2 and 3 There are four
septic tanks and associated leach fields at the site as shown on Figure 3
The well that is closest to the former UST location is the water supply well for
T&T Trucking shown as number 1 on Figures 2 and 3 The well is located
approximately 175 feet north of the former UST location and is screened from
167 to 247 feet below ground surface This well has been sampled for TPHg,
BTEX, and MTBE, and no detections were reported No other wells have been
sampled
P\23000\23954"1"1 trucking\Scn.nn e Receptor Sun(.} DOC
