' 11369 NORTH HIGHWO 99 • <br /> Project No 1001 <br />' August 28, 1997 <br /> Page 4 <br /> 8015 and BTEX using EPA method 8020 The sample containing the highest concentration of <br />' TPH as gasoline(B2-S6) was additionally analyzed for volatile halocarbons using EPA method <br /> 8010, and for total lead using EPA method 6010 <br />' On December 1, 1995, we returned to the site to further evaluate the extent of petroleum <br />' hydrocarbons in soil detected dunng the Geoprobe investigation Two additional soil bormgs <br /> (BIO and BI 1) were drilled to depths of 78 feet below grade Bonng BIO was placed adjacent <br /> to boring B2, and B11 was placed 15 feet southeast of boring B8 A hydropunch tool was <br />' used to collect a water sample from boring B 10 at a depth of 78 feet A total of 11 soil <br /> samples and one water sample were submitted to the laboratory and analyzed for TPH as <br />' gasoline and BTEX <br />' Detectable concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons were found in the water sample collected <br /> from boring B10 With concurrence from the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> lieDivision, we returned to the site on December 5, 1995, and deepened boring B 10 to 91 feet, <br /> and converted it to a two-inch diameter ground water monitoring well (MW 1) In addition to <br />' installing the monitoring well, the domestic production well located approximately 140 feet <br /> north of the former UST was sampled Water level in the domestic production well was <br /> measured to be approximately 79 feet below grade The domestic well is reportedly screened <br /> from 167 feet to 247 feet below grade <br />' On December 7, 1995, the monitoring well (B l O/MW 1) was subsequently developed and <br /> sampled No product or hydrocarbon odor was detected during developing and sampling <br />' Adescription of our field sampling Procedures is included as Appendix A Soil boring logs are <br />' included as Appendix B A summary of analytical results for soil and water samples are <br /> included as Tables 2 and 3, respectively, and laboratory reports and chain-of-custody <br /> documents are included in Appendix C <br /> 0 <br />
