• SECTION 1 <br />' INTRODUCTION <br />' On behalf of T&T Trucking, Inc Brown and Caldwell (BC) is submitting the results of a Subsurface <br /> Investigation at the subject site (Figure 1-1) related to a former gasoline underground storage tank <br /> (UST) T&T Trucking (Site) is located at 11396 North Highway 99 just south of Lodi, California <br />' This work was conducted at the request of the San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division (County) as described in a letter dated January 3,2003 Brown and <br /> Caldwell's March 19, 2003 workplan was approved by the county in a letter dated April 8, 2003 and <br />' addressed the county requirements to delineate the vertical and lateral impacts to soil and groundwater <br /> All work conducted as part of the additional subsurface investigation followed the County approved <br /> workplan <br /> The purpose of the investigation was to determine vertical and lateral extent of contaminants, <br /> evaluate potential pathways for these contaminants, and develop a site conceptual model The <br />' specific objectives of the subsurface investigation were to collect soil and groundwater samples using <br /> cone penetrometer testing (CPT), dual tube and HydropunchO methods, and analyze those samples <br /> to evaluate the extent of contamination <br /> STo determine vertical and lateral extent of contaminants, soil hthology and stratigraphy and soil and <br /> water analytical samples were collected at seven locations (CPT-1 through 7) at the Site, as shown on <br /> Figure 1-2 As part of the approval from the County, location CPT-6 was moved northwest of the <br /> originally planned location CPT methods were used to determine soil stratigraphy, Hydropunch® <br /> methods were used to collect groundwater samples, and dual tube methods were used to collect soil <br />' samples <br /> 1 <br /> 1 <br />' C\Documents and Sctongs\%h(.nlme\AIy Document~\Wort,In Progres5\T&T Trucking doc <br />
