Mr Terry Tarditi
April 7, 2003
Page 3
Analytical constituents for each well from the 1 st quarter is shown on Figure 3,
and a MTBE isoconcentration map is shown on Figure 4
BTEX. BTEZ concentrations remained consistent with the previous quarters in
all four monitoring wells The reporting limits for all constituent concentrations in
MW-1 were increased due to known high concentrations of MTBE in the sample
The dilutions were necessary because the MTBE concentrations were out of the
calibration range for the target analyte Samples from MW-1 are analyzed multiple
tunes by the analytical laboratory to bring the correct dilution into the calibration
range
TPH-G. TPH-G concentrations are below the method reporting limit of 50 µg/L
in MW-2 and are just above the reporting hrnit in MW-4 at 51 µg/L As in the
case of benzene concentrations described above for MW-1, the TPH-G reporting
limit was increased to 2,000 n/L for TPH-G,which makes it difficult to
determine if TPH-G concentrations are present TPH-G concentrations in MW-3
remain similar to 4th quarter 2002 concentrations
MTBE. In MW-1, MTBE concentrations decreased from 52,000 n/L to 44,000
µg/L MTBE was not detected in MW-2, remained consistent with historical
results in MW-3, and increased from 380 µg/L to 500 µg/L in MW-4
The following documents are enclosed with thus letter
Table 1 Historical Groundwater Elevation Data
Table 2 Groundwater Flow Direction and Gradient
Table 3 Historical Groundwater Analytical Data
Figure 1 Site Map
Figure 2 Groundwater Elevation Contour Map, February 10, 2003
Figure 3 Groundwater Constituent and Isoconcentration Map,
February 10,2003
Figure 4 MTBE Isoconcentration Map,
February 10,2003
Attachment A Field Data Sheets
Attachment B Laboratory Analytical Reports
!ixr rt vty wspnparrd rn aavrdamr malls tux standards of tlx enrrronmenlal ronsxltrng tnduug at It"lrmr it wuprtparrd It Amid not be
robed upon 1, partre r otter than ibosr for wham it m+v r prrparrd, and lixn only to do tvlen1 of the rr47/x of a ark mdsrrh um aulhorrtird Thr r
report doer not pmaranke Ilwt no additional enryrvnmensal eonlamrnalron beyond tbal de rrrrbed rn Ibrr rrpor7 emstr at the srle
1'\21111117\21417\R"r"\1st-(M$gtr doc
