Hwy. 99 <br /> Manteca <br /> The San Joaquin County, Public Health Services, Environmental <br /> Health Division has reviewed your September 8 , 1989 "PRELIMINARY <br /> HYDROGEOLOGIC ASSESSMENT REPORT." <br /> Below are the recommendations for further site assessment: <br /> Installation of four additional ground water monitoring wells <br /> to further define the lateral and vertical extent of petroleum <br /> constituents in soil and ground water. <br /> Collection of soil samples at 5-foot intervals or changes in <br /> lithology during drilling of all additional monitoring wells. <br /> Submission of selected soil samples (selection may be based on <br /> results of field-screening techniques) to a California-- <br /> certified laboratory to be analyzed for BTEX, EDB, EDC, and <br /> TPH. <br /> Sampling of all monitoring wells at the site (MW-1 through <br /> MW-8) . See the enclosed comments from California Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) . <br /> Submission of ground water samples to a California-certified <br /> laboratory to be analyzed for BTEX, EDB, EDC, and TPH-G. <br /> Collection of water level data from all wells (MW-1 through <br /> MW-8) in order to construct a ground water level contour map. <br /> Enclosed are comments from the RWQCB. <br /> The above items need to be incorporated into a "PROBLEM ASSESSMENT <br /> REPORT" which is to be submitted to this office by June 15, 1990. <br /> This report must be accompanied by a Letter of Acknowledgment from <br /> the responsible party(ies) , a sample is enclosed. <br /> A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services <br />
