I am very distressed to discover that my office has
yet to receive a written response to the report from the San Joaquin Public Health Department
(SJPHD). As you may know, Jerry Moore is planning to pull his underground storage tanks (USTs)
at this site and replace them with new, up-graded tanks within the next 10 days. In order to
coordinate Mr. Moore's tank putt with the recommendations made in the hydrogeologic assessment
report, as well as any comments/recommendations the SJPHD may have on the report, it is important
that Mr. Moore have your comments on the report prior to the scheduled tank pull at the site.
Mr. Moore and Delta Environmental Consultants Inc. (Delta) are striving to work with the SJPHD
at this site, we would like to meet with you as soon as possible so that we can proceed with the
scheduled tank replacement. Should we not receive your comments prior to the scheduled tank pull,
I will assume that the SJPHD is in concurrence with the recommendations made in the report.
Sincerely,
DELTA ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANTS, INC.
Darrell L Nations
Sr. Hydrogeologist/Project Manager
DLN:taw
cc: Mr. Jerry Moore, Moore Petroleum, Inc.
Practical Solutions to Environmental Concerns
