A full-scale site investigation will be undertaken
should circumstances warrant such an effort.
The site map has been updated to show sewer line/septic
system locations. This information was provided to ETS by
Mr. Jerry Moore. No soil borings or wells will be drilled
at this time within the fifty foot perimeter stipulated by
yourself.
Soil samples will be collected at five foot intervals.
Obvious contamination as evidenced by odor and sight will
mandate that the sample be run as a distinct sample. Where
there is doubt, the sample will be run as a distinct sample.
However, should it be apparent that no contamination is
present in two or more sequential samples, they will be run
as a single composited .sample. The exception to this is the
bottom hole sample which will be run separately in all
instances.
L
Soi1 samples will be analyzed for gasoline by GC/1- 11)
using EPR extraction method 5030, for TPH (diesel ) using fZYo
sonification extraction, and for TEL. BTX and E will 1so be
reported. Should contamination be encountered in an area
believed to be the site of a waste oil tank, a PCB scarf will 'FOP
be run. This determination will be made in the field by .-CAf,/,fR
visual inspection and oder emission when appropriate. ed Cr P6 Z^-
Groundwater samples will be analyzed using EFTA method 7`2 PID
Wells that are completed in areas of obvious
contamination will be developed using an air-lift system
until the water runs clear. The well development water, will
be containerized and left on-site for later treatment acrd/or
disposal. The well will be allowed to stabilize 24 hours
