f M <br /> *** EMCOR Associates <br /> 1433 North Market Boulevard +Sacramento Cdlifornia,45$i34-d94��i(t,I4Y� -33Q0• Fax(916)92$-3341 <br /> 94 APR 29 PIN J?- �4 <br /> pril 28, 1994 <br /> Project Z-278 00 <br /> Ms Margaret Lagono <br /> Public Health Services <br /> San Joaquin County <br /> 445 N San Joaquin street <br /> P O Box 388 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201-0388 <br /> Re Addendum to Final Remediation Plan at Franks Exxon #4, 14800 South <br /> Highway 99, Manteca, California (Federated Claim No 83Z-159) <br /> Dear Ms Lagono <br /> EMCON Associates (EMCON) has prepared this addendum in response to the Public <br /> Health Services, San Joaquin County, Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) letter <br /> dated March 4, 1994 PHS/EHD requested an addendum to address the cleanup levels for <br /> soil and groundwater at Franks Exxon, 14800 South Highway 99, Manteca, California. <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> Soil and groundwater at the site have been impacted by petroleum hydrocarbons The first <br /> quarter 1994 groundwater monitoring report indicates that groundwater monitoring wells <br /> MW-1 through MW-4 currently have low concentrations of dissolved petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons Historically the groundwater in monitoring wells MW-5 through MW-8 <br /> have also indicated low concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons The impacted soil is <br /> in the range of 10 to 25 feet below ground surface with the lateral extent estimated <br /> approximately to be 120 feet by 120 feet, surrounding the existing under ground storage <br /> tanks and pumping islands The total lateral extent of impacted groundwater is estimated <br /> to be 200 feet by 150 feet, in the west end of the site <br /> The cleanup levels identified in the March 1993, Final Remediation Plan (FRP) prepared <br /> by Aegis Environmental (Aegis), are given below <br /> I krcknos\Z278OOb-94 main 2 <br />
