Should the use of the facilities exceed the estimates used in the report, the
additional septic tank and dispersal field capacity needed for the usage must be determined and the OWTS
upgraded. There is limited space available for OWTS usage for this project because of the close proximity to
the waterways. It is recommended that a shallow filter bed dispersal field be used in the future.
Also, please be advised that should the facility be used by 25 or more persons for 60 days or more of the
year, you must obtain a permit to operate a Small Public Water System from the EHD. Please contact Robert
McClellon, REHS, Program Coordinator, at (209) 468-0332 or rmcclellon(a)-sigov.org.
In addition, any food provided to persons not members of the ski club, including a host kitchen for use by
catering companies, requires a permit to operate from the EHD. Please contact Jeff Carruesco, REHS,
Program Coordinator, at (209) 468-3438 or jcarruescoa-sigov.orq.
Based on the information provided, the EHD finds that the SSNL Study supports the suitability for standard
OWTS usage for this parcel for the proposed Phase II construction up to a maximum of 50 persons, pursuant
to San Joaquin County Ordinance Code Title 9, Section 9-1105.2(d).
If you have any questions please contact Michael Kith, REHS, Program Coordinator, at (209) 468-3444 or
mkithts-siaov.org.
Mich el Kith, REHS
Program Coordinator
c: Eagal Lakes Resort
1868 E.
