Limited Site Assessment Work Plan <br /> SOUSER PROPERTY <br /> 10217 North Highway 99, Stockton, California <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> In accordance with the request of Ms. Sharon Souser,Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.(AGE)has <br /> prepared this Limited Site Assessment Work Plan for the property located at 10217 North Highway <br /> 99, Stockton, California. The location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1. A plan of the site is <br /> illustrated on Figure 2. <br /> This work plan was prepared as required for the procurement of a soil boring permit and to satisfy <br /> requirements of the Underground Injection Control Programs (UIC) as administered by the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD). The requirements of the UIC <br /> program were outlined in the SJCEHD letter dated 25 January 2005. <br /> 2.0. BACKGROUND <br /> The subject property, located at 10217 North Highway 99 Frontage Road, Stockton, California <br /> outside the city limits of Stockton, California, is situated in an area of residential use. The subject <br /> property is a rental unit that is currently in operation. (Figure 1). <br /> The SJCEHD identified the site as a clandestine drug laboratory where hazardous materials were <br /> possibly disposed into the septic system. On 20 December 2004, a sample of the contents of the <br /> septic tank was analyzed. The analytical results reported detections of hazardous materials and or <br /> wastes in the septic tank.TRPH,acetone,1,4-dichlorobenzene,p-isopropyltoluene and toluene were <br /> detected above laboratory reporting limits. <br /> SJCEHD has requested that further investigation of the septic system be performed to evaluate if <br /> there is a threat to drinking water.The septic system construction is made up of a 2,000 gallon septic <br /> tank, 8-inch tight line to a five outlet distribution box,four separate 8-inch tight lines emptying into <br /> four separate 5-foot by 25-foot seepage pits. <br /> 3.0. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> The scope of work includes the treatment and proper disposal of contaminated septic waste, septic <br /> tank cleaning for inspection,advancement of six soil borings for the collection and analysis of soil <br /> samples,and sampling of the on-site domestic well.Upon completion a report will be prepared and <br /> reviewed by a California Registered Geologist.The scope of work will include the following tasks: <br /> • Septic tank contents treatment and disposal; <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc. <br />
