Soil samples were screened with
the field instrument (PID) for volatile organic compounds. No elevated readings were detected. These borings
included B8,at a product line, and B13,B16,and B17 at the anomalies detected by the geophysical survey.
One soil sample from the remaining twelve soil borings were analyzed for contaminants of concern. The following
table provides a summary of soil sampling:
Soil Borings Areas of Concern Sample Depth Contaminants of Concern
(depth)
B1 (10')
B2(10') Diesel Dispenser
B14(10') Location 10 TPH,BTEX,Oxygenates
B15 10'
B4(10')
B5 (10') Gasoline Dispenser 10'
B6(10') Location TPH,BTEX,Oxygenates
B7 10'
B8(5') Product Line NA NA
B3(20') Diesel UST 20' TPH,BTEX,Oxygenates
B9(20')
B10(20') Current UST 20'
B11 (20') Location TPH,BTEX,Oxygenates
B12(20') Former Waste Oil 20' TPH,VOCs,Metals
UST
B13(20') Areas of anomalies
B16(15') from geophysical NA NA
1317(15 survey
Notes:NA=not analyzed.
