Hwy 99 Frontage Rd PR#:0522753
Stockton, CA. 95212 ROM 1570
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed
Report of Site Assessment for Septic System Investigation in Support of
Underground Injection Control (UIC) Site dated May 25, 2006 as submitted by
your consultant, Stephen G. Muir Consulting and has the following comments.
Soil sample analytical results from below the septic tank, effluent lines, and
seepage pit indicate that very low levels of acetone, chloride, and 2-butanone
were detected in two of the soil borings. Ground water samples from the onsite
drinking water well have indicated that the chemicals associated with the septic
tank have not impacted the ground water. EHD has concluded that the
investigation has adequately identified that the contamination is not a threat to
the groundwater and that no further investigation is required at this time.
Prior to providing a closure letter and indicate this site is closed on the EHD
underground injection control contaminated database, the account balance for
oversight and review charges must be paid in full. Enclosed please find the final
bill for the UIC investigation portion and the septic tank replacement bill. Both
bills must be paid in full before EHD will issue the 'no further action required'
letter and this site's status on the database will show `closed'.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this investigation. Please
contact Michael Infurna, Senior REHS, at 468-3454, if you have any questions
regarding this matter.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
7Envirnmental He Ith Depart ent
Michael J.
