Assessment of the safety and industrial hygiene hazards, with a focus principally on items that could impact per- sonnel health [i.e. hearing loss,contact dermatitis, vapor intoxication, work related injuries,etc.] or productivity [i.e. sick building syndrome problems, etc.]. Conduct detailed assessments aimed at identifying the source and quantifying the magnitude of any of these types of problems. Develop and oversee the implementation of: (1) remediation/problem mitigation programs, and/or(2)regulatory compliance plans with the goal of achieving and maintaining a workplace in full compliance with Federal or State OSHA statutes. 3. Serve as an Instructor in various environmental engineering and industrial hygiene subject areas [Stanford University; University of California/Berkeley; University of Washington,Washington State University,University of the Pacific, etc.]. 4. Serve as one of the principal Instructors in the annual American Industrial Hygiene Professional Development Course on methodologies used for the assessment of ambient levels of potentially toxic gases and/or particulates.
