Box 388 • Stockton, CA 95201-0388 <br /> (209) 468-3420 <br /> DEL PARKS <br /> STOCKTON PLATING INC <br /> P O BOX 6096 JAN 1 2 19-0; <br /> STOCKTON CA 95206 <br /> Py <br /> RE: 632 SOUTH EL DORADO STREET <br /> STOCKTON CA <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) has completed <br /> a review of the laboratoryldata of the confirmatory soil samples obtained after the excavation of the <br /> soils impacted from the December 15, 1994 echant spill and has the following comments for your <br /> consideration. <br /> The levels of metals indicated in the soil samples were compared to background soil sample results <br /> obtained for a nearby sitel(Phase II Supplemental RI Workplan, Area ll, PG&E Former Manufactured <br /> Gas Plant Site, DHS Order HSA 90/91-008, CH,M Hill, April 1992). The levels detected in the <br /> confirmation soil samplesppear to be similar to the background levels of the general area. <br /> Therefore, with the provisi n that the information provided to this agency was accurate and <br /> representative of existing onditions, PHS/EHD has determined that additional investigation with <br /> respect to this spill is not arranted at this time. The site will not be added to the local contaminated <br /> data base list, nor will it b referred to any state agency for follow up. <br /> Please be advised that thi letter does not relieve you of any liability under the California Health and <br /> Safety Code or Water Cod for past, present, or future operations at the site.
