The attached EPA form provides a summary of impor- <br /> tant aspects of the i spection . <br /> The plant has six was ewater ponds and approximately 150 acres of land available <br /> for irrigation. Tomato canning wastewater was being discharged to the ponds prior <br /> to distribution to t e plants spray irrigation system. The irrigation return <br /> water was also being contained in a holding pond . There were no objectionable <br /> odors and all treatme t facilities appeared to be functioning . There has been no <br /> discharge to Bear Creek since 1978. <br /> INSPECTION SUMMARY: <br /> My inspection finds th2 discharge in compliance with Board Order No. 79-131, NPDES <br /> No. CA0003913. <br /> ROBERT E.
