It is 932, instead of 938 <br /> Frontage Road. <br /> Genesis Engineering &Development (Genesis)did not provide specific <br /> information concerning the construction of the deep well using conductor <br /> casing. Please have Genesis provide a cross section and an overhead <br /> view of the proposed deep well that includes dimensions for the casings. <br /> San Joaquin County(SJC)requires that monitoring wells be constructed <br /> following the "Well Standards" in accordance with SJC Ordinance Code <br /> Section 9-1115.6. Genesis can access the "Well Standards" by going to <br /> SJC Environmental Health Department's (EI-ID)website <br /> http://www.sjgov.org/ehd, Applications and Forms, and select "Well <br /> Standards". Section 13.9.2 of the "Well Standards" specifically states <br /> that the monitoring well borehole diameter shall be at least four inches <br /> greater than the outside diameter of the conductor casing. The inner <br /> diameter of the permanent conductor casing shall in turn be at least <br /> four inches greater than the outside diameter of the well casing. <br /> (These same requirements can be found in "California Well Standards".) <br /> Because this work plan does not give specifics as to the inside and <br /> outside diameters of the conductor casing, I can not determine whether <br /> this work plan meets these requirements. <br /> Once the work plan has been approved, Genesis can proceed with getting <br /> access agreements, encroachment permits, and then submit boring permit <br /> applications and fees to SJCEHD for the well installations. <br /> Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
