Correct by 12-5-03 <br />#16 Failed tom intain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or <br />decontamin tion equipment. <br />The spill con rol (secondary containment) for the Work Equipment Compound was <br />not maintain d properly. Cleanout secondary containment for the storage shed, oil <br />and antifreeze drums. Correct by 12-5-03 <br />#19 Stored haza dous waste on site longer than 90 days without a permit or <br />authorizatio . <br />The wastewa er treatment sludge accumulation tank had hazardous waste stored for <br />longer than 9 days. According to Union Pacific records the wastewater sludge had <br />accumulated or *,years. <br />The followin listed areas had hazardous waste stored on site for an unknown <br />amount of ti e. <br />Si 1 Area <br />1. -gallon bucket of used oil <br />2. 1 -gallon containers (paint cans??) <br />Was e Water Treatment Area <br />1. buckets near air compressors <br />2. sed oil filter drain container <br />Rem to Locomotive Maintenance Area <br />1. he roll off bin with used oil and fuel filters <br />Wor Equipment Compound <br />1. 5 gallon container of tar/sludge <br />2. it and antifreeze drums <br />Ceases immed ately accumulating hazardous waste at this facility for longer than <br />90 -days.
