SCHEDULE OF CORRECTIONS: California State Law prohibits disposal of hazardous waste to the land. Corrective action for remediation of soil contamination is the responsibility of the owner. Within 15 days of receipt of this report, contact the Department of Toxic Substances Control, Site Mitigation Unit at (916) 255-3709. Effective immediately, all hazardous waste transported off site must be manifested prior to transport. Within 15 days of receipt of this report, all hazardous waste containers shall be properly labeled with the following information: a) The accumulation start date. b) The words "Hazardous Waste". c) Composition and physical state of the waste. d) Statement(s) which will call attention to the particular hazardous properties of the waste. e) Your name and address. Effective immediately, all containers for hazardous waste shall be closed except when adding or emptying hazardous waste. Within 30 days of receipt of this report, provide adequate spill and decontamination equipment at all hazardous waste storage areas. Effective immediately, the facility contingency plan shall be immediately available for emergencies and inspections. Effective immediately, all hazardous waste stored in containers which are not in good condition shall be transferred to containers which are in good condition. Within 15 days of receipt of this report, prepare and implement a maintenance plan designed to prevent the release of potentially harmful hazardous waste constituents to the soil. Within 15 days of receipt of this report, update all personnel training records for hazardous waste workers pursuant to Section 66265.16. 3
