The Department also recommends that <br />the Named Party attach "do not enter" international symbol signs <br />at appropriatie intervals to the fence to prevent injury to <br />individuals who cannot read the sign. The signs shall include <br />the name of t�e Department of Health Services (DHS) and the name <br />and number o the Regional Office (or the local county health <br />department, i applicable). <br />20. The signs shall be visible from the area <br />surrounding the contaminated area and posted at each route of <br />entry into t e site, including those routes likely to be used by <br />unauthorized persons, at access roads ,leading to the site, and <br />facing rive s, creeks, lakes or other waterways where <br />appropriate. <br />21. The signs and fence shall be .continuously <br />maintained. The signs and fences shall be of a material able to <br />withstand the elements. <br />PENALTIES FOR NON-COMPLIANCE <br />22 Failure to comply with this Order will result in <br />the Department posting and fencing this site for you. After <br />completion c1f the project the Department will seek full cost <br />recovery. (Health & Safety Code 25359.5(d)). <br />5 <br />
