The Tard Office is suitable for in—place shel— <br />tering from short term releases of vapors, fumes <br />or mists resulting from the discharge of a <br />hazardous material, except for commodities <br />classified as a POISON GAS if the following <br />precautions are taken: <br />a. Close all doors to the outside and close - <br />and lock all windows. Seal gaps under <br />doorways and windows with wet towels and <br />those around doorways and windows with duct <br />tape. <br />b. Shut off ventilation systems, if possible, <br />or set to recirculate inside air. <br />C. Turn off all heating systems and air condi— <br />tioners. <br />d. Close as many inside doors as possible. <br />e. If an outdoor explosion is possible, close <br />shades over windows. Stay away from win— <br />dows to prevent potential injury from <br />flying glass. <br />f. If you suspect that the gas -or vapor has <br />entered the structure, hold a wet cloth <br />over your nose and mouth. <br />g.
