Isorena <br />APR 2 4 1985 <br />ENVIROF ENTAL HEALTH <br />F ERMIT/SERVICES <br />File: 353 FUEL <br />Wit reference to your visit of the Union Pacific Railroad Yard <br />at Stockton, alifornia on April 18, 1985, and your subsequent request <br />that we take ecessary measures to check for a possible leak on the <br />diesel fuel pipeline. <br />Onhe morning of April 19, 1985, we uncovered and exposed <br />approximately 125 feet of the pipeline extending through the saturated <br />area and appr ximately 25 feet in each direction beyond the saturation. <br />With the line still exposed, we put maximum pressure on the line and <br />maintained this pressure for a period of two hours. During this time <br />period we fou d one very small pin hole which dripped slowly under <br />maximum pressu e only.
