Union pacific waste Oil Tank Assessment, 10,000 gallu,i tank (2009) <br />The tank exterior was inspected and was found to be free of any signs of leaks, <br />cracks and da age. UTG readings on several locations on the tank shell show <br />only minimum vidence of pitting. The tank is estimated to be 17 years old. API <br />653 requires in ernal inspections at a minimum of every twenty years. When this <br />inspection is d ne, the interior of the tank will be photographed and the tank <br />bottom will byhecked with an ultrasonic thickness gauge to determine the tanks <br />life expectancy <br />Visual Inspec 'on findings: A visual inspection of the tank and its affiliated <br />pumps, piping nd ancillary equipment did not reveal signs of leaks, corrosion, <br />weld cracks or reaks, or scrapes in protective coating which may caus <br />release from th tank system. A description of all discrepancies noted u ing the <br />visual insoectio is included with this report.
