Union f acifi, Waste Oil Tank Assessment, 10,000 gahoa tank (2009)
Secondary Containment Design:
The seconda containment for the waste oil tank and ancillary equipment
excluding theaste oil collection trough is a asphalt and concrete pad that drains
into a collectio sump which then is pumped either to the waste water holding
tank or to the waste water treatment system. The treated waste water is then
discharged to t e City of Stockton Sewer District.
The secondary containment excluding the waste water holding tank has a
volume of approximately 22,000 gallons which includes the waste water
treatment pad, collection ditch, sump and lift station. The twenty five year rain for
a single day is .42 inches. The volume of this event's collected waste water is
approximately 7,500 gallons. The remaining secondary containment volume is
14,500 gallons which is sufficient for the waste oil holding tank TNKO — 0295.
The secondary containment for the waste oil collection trough is contained within
a separate sec ndary containment. The volume of this containment is 67 gallons.
The volume of he rainwater collected during the 25 year event is 54 gallons. The
waste oil collec ion trough is kept empty therefore the containment is sufficient.
Secondary Co tainment Inspection:
The secondary containment was inspected and was found to be free of breaks
