Tank Description: TNKO-0295 — Used oil/ Mixed Oil Tank <br />Date: April 3, 209 Time: 1120 <br />1. Tank <br />Vertical <br />2. DesignStandards: <br />10,000 -gallon vertical steel tank bolted to concrete pad in <br />asphalt containment <br />area. The tank is connected to Emulsion Breaking Separator <br />and Primary <br />Clarifier using 1" copper sweated pipe combining into a 2" steel pipe <br />with couplers <br />and welded connections. All pipes are corrosion protected with <br />paint. The <br />connection between the copper and steel pipe uses a dielectric <br />connector. <br />Additionally there is a oil filter drain area which pumps used oil to the <br />tank through <br />a pneumatic pump and 3/0" steel piping. The tank has a 3" feed back <br />line for draining <br />the water from the bottom of the tank to the clarifier and a 3" <br />truck loa <br />ing quick cam coupler and 3" ball valve, which is situated over a drip <br />contai <br />nt pad. <br />3. Documented Ages of Tank: 18 yrs <br />4. Description and Evaluation of Leak Detection Equipment: Visual daily <br />inspectio <br />5. Description and Evaluation of Corrosion Protection Equipment: Tank and all <br />ancillary piping are painted. No visible corrosion. <br />6. Description and Evaluation of Spill Prevention or Overfill Equipment: Visual <br />with tank level gauge and sump with automatic pumping system. Drip <br />containment pad under truck loading valves. <br />7. Description and Evaluation Secondary Containment for Tank System: The <br />secondary containment is the area inside the treatment plant facility. All spills, <br />overflow or leaks would flow to a sump with an automatic pump down system <br />which punips to the influent of the treatment plant.
