Fremont St., Suite 14
Stockton, CA 95205
Subject: Former ARCO Gas #443
2478 E. Oak Street
Stockton, CA 95205
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has received and
reviewed the Addendum to Site Assessment Work Plan, dated 13 June 2014, prepared
and submitted by your consulting firm, Broadbent & Associates, Inc. (B & A), on your
behalf for the above-referenced site. The EHD approves the addendum with conditions as
noted below:
In the Addendum to Site Assessment Work Plan, B & A proposed the installation of an
additional soil boring, SB-2 between the two previously drilled soil borings locations; SB-26
and SB-27. The boring will be installed according soil borings previously approved on the
original Site Assessment Work Plan. The reason for the addition of the soil boring is to
provide additional characterization between SB-26 and SB-27. In addition, (B & A) will
collect soil samples using a 2 ounce glass jar directly from hand auger instead of by the
split-spoon sampling method as previously stated in the Site Assessment Work Plan.
After permits have been issued, please allow a minimum of one week notice for field
inspection on soil gas well installations.
Please contact Angelica Sandoval Marin at (209) 468-2807 or amarin@sjcehd.com if you
have any questions.
Sincerely,
ori
Angelica Sandoval Marin,,
REHS Nuel C.
