We have finishedo backfilling and compacting
the excavation with clean aerated sail. We will cap the
excavation with asphalt print to onset of the rainy season.
WaterWook has talc! Franzia that the County will require a three
well groundwater investigation at the site. Franzia and
WaterWork agree that it is unlikely that the groundwater has been
impacted due to the thorough removal of the soil , contamination
and the approximate la feet buffer between the watertable and the
bottom of the excavation. Therefore we believe that installing
three potentially clear, wells is too costly and unjustified.
Franzia agrees with WaterWonk' s recommendation that a single
monitoring well be installed and sampled for gasoline
hydrocarbons. If laboratory restslts show elevated concent rations
of gasoline hydorcanbons, then we will approve the installation
of two additional walls. 7f the County will not 8ppoove a one
well program, then we request that the Regional • Bo arcs perform a
review of the• site for technical concurrence
r .
The Wine Group, Inc. • Franzia • Tribuno a Mogen David • Summit
17000 E.
