CHRONOLOGY <br /> 220 OAK STREET, MANTECA <br /> 7/24/92 8000 gallon gasoline UST removed. Environmental Health staff <br /> witnessing the removal and soil sampling did not observe odor or <br /> discoloration to the soil. The south soil sample was ND, the north <br /> soil sample evidenced <5 ppb Benzene, 36 ppb Toluene, 10 ppb <br /> Ethyl-benzene, 55 ppb Xylene, <2.5 ppm TPH-g. <br /> 9/17/97 One soil probe with soil sample collection <5' north of former UST <br /> location. Soil samples from 10', 15', 20' below surface were ND for <br /> BTEX, TPH-g, and oxygenates. The groundwater sample from 20' <br /> below surface was ND for the same contaminants. The <br /> groundwater sample from 35' below surface was ND except for 5 <br /> ppb (5.5 ppb) MTBE using EPA method 8260 (8020). <br /> 10/25/97 Closure Summary Report requesting no further investigation and <br /> closure. <br /> 116198 PHS/EHD decision that no further action is required. <br />
