<br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed
<br /> analytical results for groundwater samples collected from monitoring well MW-1
<br /> between June 2005 and June 2008, submitted on your behalf by Horizon Environmental
<br /> Inc. (Horizon). Di-isopropyl ether (DIPE), ethyl tertiary-butyl ether (ETRE), tertiary-
<br /> amyl methyl ether (TAME), 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA), and 1,2-dibromo ethane
<br /> (EDB) have not been detected in`any groundwater samples collected since.June 6, 2005.
<br /> Therefore, the EHD approves analyzing for these compounds annually instead of
<br /> quarterly. Continue to analyze groundwater samples quarterly for total petroleum
<br /> hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline (TPH-g); benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, and total
<br /> xylenes (BTEX); methyl tertiary-butyl ether(MTBE), and tertiary butyl alcohol (TBA).
