IWH
F Environmental Consultants, Inc.
I
- Post Office Box 6729
12; 9
R3 dD (} Ppb Modesto, CA 95355-6729
(209) 579-8138
Ms. Diane M. Hinson, REHS November 8, 1993
San Joaquin County Public Health Services
Environmental Health Division
P.O. Box 2009
Stockton, CA 95201
RE: Canepa's Car Wash - Park & Hunter
Diane,
This letter is an addendum to the "Work Plan for 248 E. Park Street, Stockton,
California", August 30, 1993, to propose converting selected Phase II borings into
groundwater monitoring wells.
The enclosed Site Map shows the Phase I borings B-1, 2 & 3, Phase II borings 4 through
7, the relocation of Boring 8 to the northeast (overhead obstruction at previous location),
and an additional Boring (#9) in the storage area south of the office/store.
We propose to convert three (3) borings (B-5, 7 & 9) into monitoring wells to determine
the groundwater gradient and the impact to the groundwater quality. Borings B-1, 2 & 3
encountered the water table at 50 to 52 feet below ground level. It is anticipated that the
monitoring wells will be drilled to 65 feet, and will be completed as shown in the
accompanying well diagram.
If you should have any questions, please contact me at the office or mobile phone 541-
7919.
Sincerely,
Lr

Lou S th, Geologist
Environmental Consultants, Inc.
