Mike Infurna [EH]
From: William Little [wlittle@advgeoenv.com]
Sent: Friday, June 10, 2011 3:22 PM
To: Mike Infurna [EH]
Subject: Monitoring Network - 248 Park Street
Mike, I am of the professional opinion that the wells without contamination are not a great
cause for concern (especially when compared to the other wells). The wells still serve the
purpose of defining the site conditions at 248 East Park Street.
• well MW-1 now useless to detect the dissolved plume at the UST area (ND), Now the
real wells are DPE 1/18/19.
• well MW-4 is up-gradient of the dissolved plume and off of the site (ND) and
• wells MW-3 and well MW-6 (MTBE) down gradient of the Farmer Property dissolved
plume and yet still HC non-detect?.
• Well MW-7 is up-gradient of the dissolved plume and could of concern, yet there has
not been a HC detection for five years.
I recommend the performance of sampling for these wells every two years (based on the
strong monitoring history) with collection of DTW and Well Maintenance semi-annual.
Thank you for your consideration.
Please call me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
William R.
