DISCUSSION OF RESULTS
5.1 DISCUSSION OF GROUNDWATER ELEVATIONS
' The groundwater elevation at the site has generally increased from approximately 35 feet bmsl to
approximately 11 feet bmsl since September 1994 A hydrograph of monitor wells MW-1 through MW-7
(Figure 3, Appendix A) illustrates the fluctuation of the groundwater table The average depth to
' groundwater measured in the monitor wells on April 12, 2001 was approximately 23 4 feet below the
monitor well measuring points, which is approximately 16 to 22 feet above the top of all well screens
The groundwater elevation ranged from 11 53 to 13 25 feet bmsl The groundwater elevation contour
map (Figure 2, Appendix A) indicates that the groundwater gradient at the site is generally towards the
northeast This is consistent with previous monitoring results
5.2 DISCUSSION OF ANALYTICAL RESULTS
The laboratory analytical results for the April 2001 groundwater monitoring event(see Figures 4 tbrough
10, Appendix A) are generally consistent with the laboratory analytical results for the January 2001
Igroundwater monitoring event BTEX and TPH-G were detected in the groundwater samples collected
IL CONDOR
