Canepa s Car Wash(Park Street) October 20 2000 Page 3 TABLE I GROUNDWATER ELEVATION DATA(July 12,2000) IMW-1 THROUGH MW-7 Well Well Casing Well Collar Depth to Groundwater ID Screen Elevation Water Elevation Interval (feet) (feet) (feet) (feet- bgs) ' MW-1 45 -65 1097 21 79 -1082 MW-2 45 -65 1037 2252 -12 15 MW-3 45 -65 1176 2311 -1135 MW-4 40 -60 1085 21 33 -1048 MW-5 40-60 1125 2281 -1156 ' MW-6 40-60 1172 2300 -1128 MW-7 40 -60 1 1 05 2307 -1202 I • 4 2 LABORATORY ANALYSES (TPH-G, BTEX, OXYGENATES/ADDITIVES) The groundwater samples were analyzed by GeoAnalytical Laboratories, Inc for total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline (TPH-G) by Method 5030/LUFT, for benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, and total xylenes (BTEX) by EPA Method 8021B, and for selected gasoline oxygenates/additives by EPA Method 8260B The gasoline oxygenates/additives include methyl tertiary-butyl ether (MTBE), ethanol, tertiary-butanol, di- Isopropyl ether(DIPS), ethyl tertiary-butyl ether(ETBE), and tertiary-amyl methyl ether(TAME) Laboratory analyses indicate that none of the analytes of interest were detected at or above the laboratory reporting limits in the groundwater sample collected from monitor well MW-I In the groundwater samples from MW-4 and MW-6 MTBE was detected at a concentration of 1 4 micrograms per liter (µg/L) and 12 gg/L, respectively Toluene was detected in the groundwater sample collected from monitor well MW-7 at a concentration of 0 8 µg/L Ethyl Benzene and MTBE were detected at concentrations of 0 3 }tg/L and 3 2 gg/L, respectively, in the groundwater sample collected from MW-3 BTEX and TPH-G were detected in the sample collected from monitor well MW-2 at concentrations of 90 gg/L, 52 µg/L, 120 jig/L, 160 gg/L, and 6 9 milligrams per liter (Ing/L), respectively BTEX and TPH-G were detected in the groundwater sample collected from monitor well MW-5 at concentrations of 6,700 gg/L, 6,100 gg/L, 1,000 µg/L, 2,800 µg/L, and 24 mg/L, respectively None of the selected gasoline oxygenates/additives were detected at or above the laboratory reporting limits in any of the groundwater samples, with the exception of MTBE, which was detected in the samples collected from MW-3, MW-4, and MW-6 The laboratory reporting limits were raised,however, for the groundwater samples collected from MW-2 and MW-5 due to high concentrations of other analytes A • summary of the laboratory analytical results is presented to Table 2 on the next page, and in Figure 3, Appendix A Laboratory report sheets indicating analytical methods used, reporting limits, and the results of the analyses are included in Appendix C Historical groundwater analytical data are presented in Table A, Appendix B t, CONDOR i
