In addition,i an updated Site Conceptual Model (SCM), additional remediation
well needs, and a cost and 'estimated remedial time requirement were also included.
Based on a successful pilot tests and modified well designs, AGE has determined that soil
vapor extraction (SVE) and ground water extraction (GWE) would be the most productive and
timely remedial actions for cleaning up the contamination at this site. The EHD concurs.
The CAP is adequate and!approved [H&S 25296.10(c)(3)]. Please submit a Remedial Action
Plan (RAP) that includes detailed remediation well designs, locations, and trenching/hookup
plans for connection to the remediation unit. A time schedule for installing the wells, the
remedial system unit (vacuum and manifold), and the date the remedial system will be online is
to be included in the RAP.
If you have any questions lease contact Michael Infurna, at (209) 468-3454.
Michael J.
