The EHD concurs that SVE appears to be a viable remedial alternative for
the soil.
The EHD also reviewed Ground Water Aquifer Pumping Test Report dated February 12, 2007
and concurs with conclusion that ground water extraction, treatment, and disposal to the City of
Stockton sewer system could be a feasible remedial alternative for reducing the petroleum
contamination present in theground water beneath the site.
The EHD concurs that a Corrective Action Plan (CAP) should be submitted. The Cap is to
include a cost-effective evaluation of at least two feasible remedial alternatives for restoring the
beneficial use of the ground water. Please include details for additional remediation well
installations and vapor extraction unit specifications in the CAP, as well as an updated Site
Conceptual Model
In the correspondence dated February 18, 2009, the EHD approved a reduction of quarterly
sampling and informed you of the requirement to submit a quarterly report on the status and
time schedule for work at the site. The report submitted to Geotracker for the First Quarter 2009
did not include a time schedule for implementing future investigative/remedial actions. Please
ensure that future quarterly reports provide dates of future actions proposed for the site.
