� s <br /> Work Plan Addendum - June 1998 101yI <br /> PACIFIC CAR WASH pk/ ,o 2 <br /> 4405 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, California /10 <br /> 1.0, INTRODUCTION <br /> In accordance with the request of Ms Lila Billheimer, Chief Executor for the Estate of J C <br /> Shaughnessy,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE)has prepared this Wort.Plan Addendum for <br /> the installation of at least four ground water monitoring wells at 4405 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, <br /> California The objective of this investigation is to assess the impact of petroleum hydrocarbons at <br /> the site The scope of work for this investigation includes the advancement of at least three single- <br /> completed two-inch diameter ground water monitoring wells and one dual-completed two-inch <br /> diameter ground water monitoring well Hove ever, additional monitoring wells may be required to <br /> adequately define the lateral and vertical extent of hydrocarbon-impacted soil and/or ground water <br /> The location of the site is illustrated in Figure 1 A plan of the site is illustrated on Figure 2 <br /> This Work Plan Addendum is prepared in accordance with San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> Semices - Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) and Central Valley Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board (CVRWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tank (UST) <br /> sites <br /> 2.0. BACKGROUND <br /> 2 1 SITE LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION <br /> The site is located at 4405 Pacific Avenue, on the northwest corner of the intersection of Bianchi <br /> Road and Pacific Avenue The site is located in an area of low topographic ielief at an elevation <br /> between 10 and 15 feet above mean sea level in the City of Stockton San Joaquin County, <br /> California The site is within the northeast quarter of Section 5, Township 2 North, Range 6 East, <br /> Mount Diablo Base and Meridian (Stockton West Quadrangle, 7 5-Minute USGS Topographic <br /> Series, 1968. photo revised 1987) <br /> A full service carx%ash with gasoline dispensing facilities has been located on the site since 1968 <br /> TNNo 12,000-gallon gasoline USTs, and one 6,000-gallon gasoline UST are presently located at the <br /> site <br /> 22 INITIAL INVESTIGATION <br /> In October and November 1991, nine shallow soil borings were advanced at the site to determine <br /> the extent of petroleum hydrocarbon compounds beneath the fuel distribution network area <br /> Hydrocarbon-impacted soil was detected in samples collected from depths of approximately 5 to 15 <br /> Advanced GeoEnvirenmental,Inc <br />
