• Feasibility Studies and Monitoring Well Installation Work Plan <br /> PACIFIC CAR WASH <br /> 4405 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, California <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE)has prepared this work plan for Installation of one ground <br /> water extraction well,three soil vapor extraction(SVE)wells, one in-situ air sparging well (IAS) and <br /> two ground water monitoring wells at 4405 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, California (the site) <br /> Following well Installations, AGE will perform feasibility studies for soil and ground water <br /> corrective action including performance of a 24-hour ground water aquifer pumping test, <br /> performance of an eight-hour SVE pilot test, performance of a 48-hour IAS pilot test and <br /> performance of a 24-hour SVE/IAS pilot test The location of the site Is illustrated in Figure 1 A <br /> plan of the site is Illustrated on Figure 2 <br /> The proposed scope of work is in accordance with a verbal directive from the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD, telephone conversation with Mr Michael Infurna on <br /> 07 January 2002) As part of a Corrective Action Plan (CAP) for the site, performance of a ground <br /> water aquifer pumping test, SVE pilot test and IAS pilot test will be performed to evaluate potential <br /> remediation options for soil and ground water at the site Additional ground water monitoring wells <br /> are also required northwest and northeast of the site to determine the lateral extent of petroleum <br /> • hydrocarbon-impacted ground water Upon completion of the feasibility studies and additional <br /> assessment, a Problem Assessment Report(PAR) and Remedial Action Plan(RAP) can be prepared <br /> This work plan is prepared in accordance with California Regional Water Quality Control Board - <br /> Central Valley Region (RWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tanks <br /> (UST) sites <br /> 2.0. BACKGROUND <br /> The site is located at 4405 Pacific Avenue, on the northwest corner of the Intersection of Bianchi <br /> Road and Pacific Avenue The site is located in an area of low topographic relief at an elevation <br /> between 10 and 15 feet above mean sea level in the City of Stockton, San Joaquin County, <br /> California The site Is within the northeast quarter of Section 5, Township 2 North, Range 6 East, <br /> Mount Diablo Base and Meridian (Stockton West Quadrangle, 7 5-Minute USGS Topographic <br /> 3C4 <br /> CI 19680, p'iiuw rev ibed 1987) <br /> 21 SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The Pacific Car Wash is a full service car-wash and gasoline dispensing facility that has been located <br /> on the site at least since 1968 One 20,000-gallon gasoline UST is currently located on the north <br /> portion of the site <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
