vy - <br /> 92 <br /> 1.0 INTROMMON <br /> This report describes the removal and installation of underground storage tanks(USTs)and <br /> presents the soil sampling analytical data at ARCO Products Company(ARCO) Facility No. <br /> 6100,located at 25175 South Patterson Pass Road,Tracy,California(Site). ARCO retained <br /> Roux Associates(Roux)to observe the excavation and removal of five USTs and associated <br /> product lines, collect and analyze soil samples, and prepare this report. Soil samples were <br /> collected from beneath the removed product lines,from the limits of the new and old tank <br /> cavity excavations and from the excavated soil stockpiles. The field investigation was <br /> conducted from November 1, 1990 to February 19, 1991. The work performed by Roux was <br /> conducted by Roux geologists and engineers under the direction of Mr. Keith Kennedy, <br /> California Registered Geologist Number 4903. <br /> 2.0 SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> ARCO Facility No. 6100 is an operating self-service gasoline station and ARCO AM/PM <br /> mini-market located at the northwest corner of the intersection of South Patterson Pass <br /> Road and Interstate 580 in Tracy,California(Figure 1). The Site is a relatively fiat asphalt <br /> and concrete covered lot, located approximately 300 feet above mean sea level (USGS, <br /> 1980).
